...Canvas Corp {love}...

5.09.2011
I hope everyone had a really wonderful weekend...we FINALLY had some beautiful spring weather, and I can't believe how much it improved my overall feeling of well-being...seriously...

So now I'm ready for the week...OK, Monday...bring it on...

A month or so ago I was lucky enough to be the random winner of The CSI Project's weekly giveaway. The sponsor that week just happened to Canvas Corp, and let me tell you, I could not have won a better prize...

About a week after I won, this is what showed up at my door...

OK, seriously?!?!? This is like an amazing amount of product! ...scrapbook paper, canvases in all sizes, jute twine, greeting cards, push pins & mini-clothespins, kraft hang tags, burlap & canvas tags, a canvas pillow cover and chalkboard paper!!!!

So, I figured I'd better start getting to work on some Canvas Corp projects...and this week I'll be featuring what I've been creating with these amazing products...

First up:
Chalkboard tags...

These are the items I used...pre-cut canvas tags & pre-cut kraft tags (both from Canvas Corp) and FolkArt Chalkboard Paint (which I got from Wal-Mart for under $5.00)

...the canvas tags were two-layers sewn together...I ripped out the stitches and was able to get 2 tags from each item...awesome...
I'm thinkin' you probably don't need to know that I simply painted some chalkboard paint onto the tags in order to create the finished product...but if you do need to know, I just told'ja...
...we used this one to help decorate a birthday gift...for Ryan...obviously...

...and I made a bunch of these to separate the kids' school stuff into baskets...
Pretty cool, huh? And super easy...

More tomorrow...
